We've been trying to get Skeleten down to GG for a while now, so we're stoked to be hosting them. Jumping on the bill all the way from Naarm we also have Dumbhead and local label heads Discoslave Skeleten Deeply rooted in Sydney’s tight-knit creative community, Skeleten is a producer, writer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, creative director and visual artist. On his new album Mentalized, industrial and nu-metal textures underpin dreamlike vocals and abstracted pop arrangements, while fuzzed out guitar, harking back to 2000s indie, punctuates deep house and trip-hop rhythms. Underlying it all is an innate inclination towards the dance music world that Skeleten comes from. Dumbhead Dumbhead are a three piece from Naarm/Melbourne, known for their genre-bending sound. Dumbhead create bass-heavy music built for late-night movement, drawing from experimental electronica, triphop, and live beat-making. Their shows are immersive and unpredictable.
