Great Southern Nights presents Melbourne/Naarm’s Jordan Brando One third of Not Without Friends alongside Luke Alessi and William Kiss, Jordan has been part of a new wave of Australian house that’s been dominating clubs and festival stages. The trio recently threw their Not Without Friends: All Day Long show at Rippon Lea Estate, packing out the historic gardens for a cracker day sesh that showed just how big their movement has become. Many first discovered Jordan when his breakout track We Like To Party went bonkers Strawberry Fields Festival, quickly becoming one of those records that spread through sets across the country. He’s also behind cheeky club weapons like HBFS, his collaboration with Luke Alessi, a Daft Punk-tinged house cut that’s been doing serious damage worldwide. Now we’re taking that energy into a late-night session at Oxford Art Factory.
