Good Charlotte is an American rock band from Maryland, formed in 1996. The band consists of twin brothers Joel Madden and Benji Madden, along with Paul Thomas and Dean Butterworth. They are known for their pop punk and emo sound, with notable releases including their debut album 'Good Charlotte' in 2000 and 'The Young and the Hopeless' in 2002.
