Happy Mondays is a British rock band from Salford, Greater Manchester, formed in 1980. They were a key band in the Madchester movement of the late 1980s and early 1990s, known for their unique blend of indie rock, psychedelic rock, and electronic dance music, with notable releases such as their debut album 'Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)' and their hit single 'Step On'.
