Thundercat is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born Stephen Bruner, he is the younger brother of bassist Ronald Bruner Jr. and the son of Ronald Bruner Sr., a bassist for the jazz-funk band The Jazz Crusaders. Thundercat is known for his work in the genres of R&B, funk, and electronic music, and has released several critically acclaimed albums, including 'The Golden Age of Apocalypse' and 'Drunk'.
