Upclose is Awakenings' spring outdoor edition, held at Houtrak in the Spaarnwoude recreation area just west of Amsterdam on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 May 2027. Both days run from midday to 11pm and stick to the Awakenings formula of hard, driving techno on a compact site with the crowd close to the stage. Around 30,000 people attend across the weekend. Regular ticket sales open at the end of 2026.
