On September 12, we welcome Truncate back to play for Might Be Magic. David Flores is a longtime friend, an undeniable techno legend, and an artist whose music has shaped dance floors around the world. Raised in Los Angeles’ ’90s warehouse and rave scene, he launched Truncate in 2011 as an outlet for deep, raw, stripped-back techno. The project became a defining force in modern techno—precise, powerful and built for the dance floor. Austin favorite Zara joins us on opening duties, setting the tone with her driving, hypnotic selections and unmistakable energy behind the decks.
