Gurtenfestival

Gurtenfestival is held on the Gurten, the wooded hill above Bern reached by funicular, with stages set out across the summit meadow. The 2027 edition runs 14 to 18 July and is extended to five days for the festival's 50th anniversary, bringing back the Gurtenfestival Sunday. It programmes pop, rock, hip hop and electronic music for roughly 20,000 people a day. Early bird tickets for the anniversary edition go on sale in autumn and registration is open.
