Boomtown is a large immersive camping festival on the Matterley Estate in the South Downs near Winchester, built around themed districts and a running narrative alongside its music stages. The 2027 edition runs from 11 to 15 August for around 70,000 people, with a programme weighted towards drum and bass, reggae, dub and other electronic and bass music. Tickets for 2027 went on sale after the 2026 Chapter Five edition closed, with payment plans starting at a 23 pound deposit and every ticket carrying a 20 pound eco bond. Accommodation upgrades and pre pitched options are sold separately from the entry ticket.
