cleopatrick

About

Since their inception, cleopatrick, made up of Cobourg, ON natives Luke Gruntz and Ian Fraser, have proved themselves to be one of the most in-demand rising rock bands on the planet. They have amassed over 100 million streams, alongside a string of sold-out tours and festival appearances across Canada, the US, UK, and EU. cleopatrick won a SOCAN Award for their Top 5 Canadian and U.S radio hit and breakout single, “hometown”-- while their explosive debut album, BUMMER (2021) earned the band a JUNO nomination for 'Breakthrough Group of the Year.' With their bold sophomore album FAKE MOON released in 2025, cleopatrick entered a thrilling new creative chapter. Recorded in Brooklyn with visionary producer Philip Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Hand Habits), FAKE MOON reflects a more experimental, collaborative approach. With a new album on the horizon, cleopatrick’s recently-released song “WHAAT” marks a return to the heavy riffs and distortion of BUMMER and the band’s 2025 SCRAP EP. From viral hits to genre-defying albums, cleopatrick continue to carve out their own lane, proving that rock's future is not only alive but thriving in the hands of a new generation.
