DUSKY (UK) | ROOFTOP POOL PARTY

About

Dusky are London production duo Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell, leaders of the UK underground. Essential Mix of the Year contenders, DJ Magazine cover stars, headliners from Berlin's Panorama Bar to London's Fabric. Their breakthrough came with the killer 'Flo Jam' — devastating deep grooves hammered by everyone from Loefah and Joy Orbison to Disclosure and Sasha, and an underground anthem that crossed over to take iTunes Dance Single Of The Year. Since then they have refused to stay stationary: warehouse techno on Loefah's School, scene-defining house on Aus, melodic grooves on Anjunadeep. Whatever they turn their hands to, the signature depth and detailing make it instantly recognisable — an identity their 17 Steps label now gives the unrestricted platform it deserves.
