David Carretta [FR]

About

Sneak-a-peek into our Halloween night this year! The first headliner is a Marseille-born pioneer that has been warping dancefloors since 1996, when his track “Innerwood” convinced DJ Hell to launch International Deejay Gigolo Records. David Carretta’s sound sits precisely between the icy EBM of Front 242 and the analog thrust of Italo disco, all driven by his beloved Sequential Circuits Pro One and Korg MS-20. Expect martial beats, hypnotic synth lines, and that unmistakable vocoder snarl from “Vicious Game”. A co-founder of Space Factory and a genuine architect of French electro-techno, Carretta remains a master of tension between pleasure and panic to this day, so you’d better beware.
