Growing up just north of London and influenced as much by classic RnB stars like Brandy and SWV as he is by the art and world-building of Tim Burton, as well as more contemporary influences like PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake, Omar also dials into his Punjabi and Gujarati heritage for inspiration. With early co-signs via everyone from Lancey Foux to Josh Baker and plenty of new music on the horizon in 2026, too, it feels like just the start for Omar+ — a hyper-talented, ambitious and conscientious artist to watch.
