SorchaLula - Why So Far EP Release

About

SorchaLula unveils her debut EP 'Why So Far' on Loop Electronic, celebrating with a release tour of Aotearoa. Ōtautahi / Christchurch is the final stop, where she'll be joined by her long-time friend and production mentor, the infamous Paige Julia, and legendary tune wizard Dylan C (Loop Records). Presented by Wheke Sound with a custom-built Tubs Audio rig, in the creative hotspot of XCHC The Exchange. Emerging from the Aotearoa underground with a reputation for sensual, slinky and bass-driven DJ sets, SorchaLula's original music weaves together intricate percussion, field recordings and heavy bass weight. Her sound is emotionally charged and physically grounded, exploring the duality of tenderness and power within the dance music scene. Saturday 5 December, 8pm - 2am XCHC, 376 Wilsons Road, Waltham, Christchurch Tickets from $30 on Gather.
