Bassbin: 30 Year Anniversary

About

Bassbin is hitting the big Three Oh. Having sold out their Dublin anniversary night, Bassbin are bringing the roughneck sound of Drum & Bass and Jungle to Connollys of Leap for a very special West Cork edition. Founded by Rohan in 1996 with the aim of getting Jungle and Drum & Bass moving in Ireland, Bassbin grew from a club night into a collective of DJs, MCs and producers, a weekly institution and an internationally respected record label. The label helped push Irish producers overseas while releasing music from some of the most important names in international Drum & Bass. Bassbin nights travelled far beyond Dublin, reaching London, Birmingham, Manchester, Berlin, Athens and Amsterdam, alongside regular appearances at Sun and Bass. Through it all, Bassbin developed a sound that moved with the newest waves coming from the UK while never forgetting its Jungle roots.
