Glasgow's Austin Ato makes colourful and pulsing records for sweaty basements and massive festivals alike, and his reputation on both fronts continues to grow. As a producer and DJ, he brings together a rich mixture of influences — from afrobeat and dubby house to pulsing disco and machine funk — creating a dancefloor vibe that feels fresh but is steeped in dance music history. Releases on Phonica, Classic and his own label I Love Your Energy have earned him radio support from Pete Tong, Sarah Story and Danny Howard, alongside championing from the likes of Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter and David Morales. Equally at home in the most intimate deep parties as on the biggest main stages, he's known for electric, energetic sets driven by a genuine love and knowledge of the music.
