Way Out West is Sweden's leading urban festival, held in the Slottsskogen park in central Gothenburg. The 2027 edition runs 12 to 14 August with around 35,000 people a day for indie, pop, hip hop and electronic music, and the festival extends into club shows across the city at night. It is entirely vegetarian on site, a policy it has kept since 2012. Blind bird tickets for 2027 are already on sale.
