QRPL XXX.orgy | Saturday, August 1st | start: 6pm | südpol It’s pride again! and our 30th edition – we’re going all naughty with our residents + a few international & local guests. our first guest brings the energy of the big apple, KILOPATRAH JONES was born in queens, new york city and is a longtime dancer who discovered their love for house-music during a cool-down sessions of a breakdance-class. since then they came along way playing regularly at basement, attending the pride-function at panorama bar last year and following their mentor dee diggs playing ‘sonar festival’ just this summer. after more than two decades of curating music SHARLESE is one of the very few Black voices in the white dominated field of italo and synthwave. in 2012 she started djing for the goth and industrial crew ‘second sight’ and recently her productions with kay-chi and tending tropics got some well-earned recognition – for her queerpool-debut she’s going to play back-to-back with resident CHARLIE VAUX. the bogotá-based dj and producer SARA DELIRIO indulges in heavy-beat syncopation and is on for a back-to-back with KHLOE. hailing from zimbabwe VANTA V BLACK is opening these festivities – in her sets she fuses the energy of her ancestors with a modern electronic sound. our latest resident HIGH FUTURE is playing alongside, LA CARPIO, LIAD KRISPIN, PANTHERESS b2b OIKO and DSGNRPSSY. finally the stars align and INTROSPEKT is coming back – since her last appearance she released her debut-album ‘moving the center’ in 2025 which tom gledhill described on resident advisor as a ‘dance music albums that ‘feel[s] studied while still making you want to sweat.’ on debut-mission is MERVE, the naarm-raised and now berlin-based began as a music-programmer and radio-host and is now not only playing international prestigious gigs but also launched her own party series, ‘arcane’, and became a resident with manchester’s acclaimed queer collective ‘high hoops’. the producer and dj CHINYERE, has built quite a name for himself in the hamburg underground scene, for his queerpool-debut he’s going to play back-to-back with YUNG_WOMB. another b2b is coming from our resident COCO COBRA fusing her sound with the rio de janeiro-based dj and producer NORA who’s also the co-founder of the event-series ‘arena’. finally back at a queerpool happening are PROSECCO BABES known to indulge in a very gay pop-perlage – fun! kisses QUEERPOOL! QUEERPOOL aims to be something special, as should you – and moreover, your outfit. 'CHANNEL YOUR INNER LALA RI AND GET CREATIVE AND FREE' isn't just an invitation but a prompt.
