Great Escape NYE is Tasmania's biggest New Year's Eve festival, a three-night camping event at Redbanks near Nugent in the state's south-east, running from 9am on 29 December to midday on 1 January. The 2026-27 bill is led by Ocean Alley, Ball Park Music and Golden Features, with Lastlings, Mallrat, Miss Kaninna, Old Mervs, Partiboi69, Slowly Slowly and The Rions among more than 30 acts. It is strictly 18+ and BYO with no glass, and every ticket includes general camping. Capacity is around 10,000 and vehicle passes are sold separately.
