Mercalli and Late Night Bootycall join forces for a special two-part night to bring you Los Angeles’ Truncate. The night begins with a Mercalli takeover at Ice House Radio, then continues at The Way Up until daybreak. Proper techno cuts all night. An LA techno veteran since the early ’90s, David Flores aka Truncate has been a defining force in the city’s underground sound. From his work with Droid Behavior to releases on 50 Weapons, Blueprint, Token, Figure, Ultramajic and his own Truncate imprint, his raw, industrial approach has become a cornerstone of modern techno.
