DONT STAND STILL presents: Villaça

About

Don't Stand Still is back in Peckham for a winter night of house and techno, at Vespers, with Villaça over from Barcelona to play an all-vinyl set. Villaça's sets are deep and hypnotic. He's taken them everywhere from Boiler Room São Paulo to Sea Sea in Barcelona and Melt in LA, alongside the likes of Jane Fitz and Magda. His own records have the backing of some of the biggest names in house and techno, like DJ Koolt and Craig Richards. Between the records and running his own label, Campana Rec, he's someone who lives and breathes it. He's joined by a line-up of local artists across the night. Expect music that builds slowly and stays with you: deep house, electro and techno, raw around the edges, with a nod to the underground sound coming out of Montevideo. A night for dancing, and for listening. Small room, limited capacity.
