One we never thought we’d write (again), Overjoyed is back on Adela Street to soundtrack the GI Roadshow Sound System on Sunday 30th August for Notting Hill Carnival. On the day, some of the UK’s finest will step up across the soulful spectrum. From house to soul and dubplates to future classics, expect our Carnival sound in full flow. Tucked away on a canal-backed cul-de-sac, Adela Street remains one of the most special corners of Carnival. GI Roadshow and his team have been holding it down here for over twenty years with heavyweight sound and ice-cold drinks stocked this year by our friends at Jumbi. 60 years of Carnival. 20+ years of GI Roadshow. Our third year on Adela Street. Early arrivals encouraged, once we hit 400, we’re at cap. Gilla & Russ x
