Undergroove: Arval invites Nekes

About

Undergroove, the format curated by Arval, returns to Doggy Klœb on November 13 with Nekes, Berlin-based DJ and producer, a key figure in the international underground scene and co-founder of the renowned Oslo label alongside Federico Molinari. Founded in 2007, Oslo has become one of the most respected labels in electronic music. Nekes’ sound moves between deep grooves, percussive rhythms and sensual atmospheres, shaped by fluid mixing and an effortless ability to weave different styles together. His journey has taken him to dancefloors around the world, while remaining true to his own musical vision. At the heart of the project is Arval, the alias of Álvaro Muñoz, a Spanish artist whose sound is rooted in minimal and deep house. Active since the early 2000s, he has developed a distinctive musical language built on hypnotic grooves, subtle details and carefully crafted selections. With releases on labels such as Blind Vision Records and Supervibe, alongside performances at iconic Berlin clubs and international events including ADE and Off Sonar, Arval continues to explore the nuances of underground sound. 5 hours of music, from beginning to end.
