About
Essex house don Beave with Ethan Walsh in the Joshua Brooks basement. Resident Inflair opens up. Beave and Ethan Walsh share the Joshua Brooks basement on 18 September, a double header pulling together two of the most talked about names in British house right now. Venue resident Inflair opens the night. Beave has been making records for over a decade, but the version currently filling rooms only arrived properly in 2025. 'Where' on The Cuckoos Nest became a summer staple across Ibiza, picking up support from Robbie Doherty and Dennis Quin along the way. Since then he's settled into a signature: heavy synth work laid over garage-influenced grooves, built for a system with some weight behind it. The release run backs it up. 'Just Another Love Song' came through Isekai Records and racked up close to 100,000 SoundCloud plays before it was even out. 'Once Again' followed in May, and a remix of BL3SS's 'terms and conditions' landed in June. His newest, '1997', due out on Staff Only later this month, is already the one doing the damage in his sets. Ethan Walsh got here faster. 'Look Good' arrived via Disorder at the end of 2025 and climbed to number nine on the Official Independent Singles Breakers Chart, holding for seven weeks. 'Too In Love With You' followed in March, built around a Kelly Barnes vocal, and has passed five million streams. What he makes is lean and stripped back, the vocal pushed right to the front, with co-signs already in from Max Dean, IPC, Obskur and LP Rhythm. The basement suits this bill well. Bricked arches keep things close, and the system gives Beave's synth work room to breathe while holding enough weight for Walsh's more minimal records to land properly.
