Gallery arrives at Miscellania on July 10 for the first night in a new series. Focussing on the country's finest selectors playing long sets in our favourite club in Naarm. The first edition we have two of our finest global exports in Andy Garvey and Hasvat Informant. Andy Garvey has spent the better part of a decade building one of the more significant bodies of work in Australian electronic music. Her sound sits at the intersection of deep techno and entrancing rhythm, functional but never mechanical, always pulling toward something more inward. As the founder of Pure Space, now ten years old and increasingly a global reference point, she is as much a curator and platform builder as she is a DJ, with an ear that has taken her through Säule at Berghain, Tresor, FOLD, Lux Fragil, and across festival stages from Horst to Dark Mofo. Her 2025 EP Mastermind landed as one of the year's stronger local statements, and her forthcoming debut album Solid State Dissolve on Mirror Zone promises to push further still, into territory where rhythmic intensity and atmospheric depth start to blur. Hasvat Informant is a Naarm-based producer and DJ whose techno operates in the registers most artists don't bother with, dark without being blunt, delicate without losing its grip. A former sound and light technician, his relationship to the dancefloor is rooted in something closer to architecture than performance. He understands how sound fills a space, how a room breathes, how a set can pull people somewhere and keep them there. His productions have found homes on Amniote Editions and Butter Sessions among others, each one built outward from a single timbre, an identifying sonic quality that anchors the whole. Last year he made his mark at A3 Festival, and 2025 has seen him step up considerably, with a breakthrough set at Pitch Festival and a European tour that took in Refuge Worldwide and Drift Radio, back to back Amniote Editions shows at DAS in Copenhagen and Club Raum in Amsterdam,
