Japanese icon Tujiko Noriko presents her quietly radical songcraft of intimate vocals suspended in glitch, electro-acoustic drift and cinematic ambience, tracing a lineage from her early Mego releases up to now.From the remote Himalayan region of Ladakh, Ruhail Qaisar channels the abrasive force of noise and power electronics into stark socio-political reflection, his work is shaped by geographic isolation and global rupture, this is music as pressure point and alarm. The instrument builder Rod Cooper animates hand-built metal sound sculptures, transforming industrial tools into resonant instruments of raw physicality, where welding arcs, strings and mechanical systems converge as performative sound. Completing the bill, Ethiopian-Australian artist Nū uses live coding as an expressive instrument, folding Afrofuturist vocal gestures into fluid systems drawn from ambient, jazz and R&B, where code rewires tradition.Inter.Sonix 09 unfolds as a study in friction and delicacy, where digital systems, bodies and materials collide, hum and fracture in real time.
