LAN presents Idealist Live (CH)

About

LAN welcomes Swiss producer Idealist to Angel Music Bar for a rare live set, alongside Willis Anne and Hyperprism. Based in Zurich, Idealist has spent over a decade developing his own take on deep house, dub house and dub techno. Known for his stripped-back productions, warm basslines, hypnotic rhythms and spacious, echo-drenched textures, he has released music on Echocord and Mojuba Records, as well as through his own Idealistmusic and Details Series imprints. His latest EP, Hidden World (Mojuba, 2026), is a fine example of his craft: four deep, atmospheric tracks that shift between meditative dub textures and understated, groove-driven house. His music leaves room for things to breathe, building tension and depth through subtle changes rather than excess. For this special Thursday edition at Angel Bar, Idealist steps away from the DJ booth to present a live set, offering a different perspective on a catalogue made for deep listening and late-night dancefloors. A night for the heads, the dub devotees and anyone drawn to the deeper end of house music. Two selectors and one rare live performance, in an intimate setting. Thursday, November 5 Angel Bar, Naarm/Melbourne 10pm-3am Idealist (Live) Willis Anne Hyperprism
