Sub Club Melbourne presents: Cloudy Ku All Night Long After a month long winter closure, Sub Club will host a bittersweet moment for Melbourne’s underground community when it reopens its doors this August. On August 15th, Cloudy Ku will command the sound system All Night Long in what will be her last public appearance before entering an extended period of sabbatical. Taipei-born and Melbourne-based DJ, producer, and curator @cloudyku.her fuses ambient, experimental, techno, trance, and leftfield bass into a fluid, atmospheric yet physical sound that moves between emotional depth and rhythmic intensity. Under the alias Suzhen Bai, she has released original music via the Danish label Amniote Editions. She is also the founder of @hermusicequality 他 and @speed_bpm 速度, two labels committed to advancing FLINTA* representation within underground club culture. A fitting farewell, these hours will trace her evolution as both a producer and a selector moving through atmospheric textures, intricate rhythms, and the driving, electronic experiments that defines her sound.
