ESTÚDIO JUNTO LINKS UP WITH TIJOLO RECORDS FOR A SPECIAL EDITION OF AO VIVO IN BROOKLYN For this edition of AO VIVO, expect a lineup built to put the forefront of Brazilian electronic & bass music in dialogue with the dancefloor and flavor of NYC club music. Tijolo Records was founded in 2019 by São Paulo native SIXX4SIXX and has become an important bridge between Brasil, the US, and Europe within underground contemporary electronic and bass music Launched as a record label with CESRV''s release in 2020, Tijolo has grown into a catalog of 10+ EPs from artists including RHR, CRAZED BR, REGAL 86, NAICHE, HOLANDES, DATA ASSAULT, OAK CITY SLUMS, EVEHIVE & more. Beyond the catalog, Tijolo has thrown 30+ events across the globe showcasing important voices in avant-garde electronic music. At the center of our night is Badsista, whose work with São Paulo’s Mamba Negra helped shape an entire generation of Brazilian club culture. A pioneer in merging genres such as house, bass music and brazilian funk, Badsista represents a new sound identity from peripheral communities that has been lighting up dance floors in Brazil and abroad. With his energetic and diverse sound, the artist has established himself as a key reference in the country's underground scene with British Mixmag naming him among the producers who “defined the year” in 2023. Flying in from CDMX is Kebra: Her path through Brazil and Mexico translates into a sharp curatorial approach: basslines, experimental soundscapes, and an exploration of Brazilian funk, alongside a wide spectrum of genres from the Latin electronic diaspora. Sixx4sixx is not only the founder and head honcho of Tijolo Records, but also an esteemed producer and DJ who cut his teeth in São Paulo before moving bases to Brooklyn. He returns to the AO VIVO stage for the 6th time! To round out the night, we're excited to welcome DJ Esteves to our stage for the first time. Pretty soon we will be announcing very special guests who will be performing an hour-long live hardware set!
