Night & Day returns with one of its most intriguing lineups yet. Across seventeen hours, Signal welcomes a cast of selectors whose relationship to darkness, atmosphere, and surprise has made them favorites among dancers who like the darker, stranger side of club music. Ivan Smagghe leads the charge, a true cult figure whose sets have long lived somewhere between post-punk romanticism, psychedelic dance music, and elegant spontaneity. Smagghe is sure to control the room with his deep genre knowledge and story-telling ability. Youandewan follows with the subtle touch behind their label Deep Sea Frequency, bringing the kind of patient, emotionally detailed house and techno that is perfect for technical, close listening. NY / Detroit favorite Lauren Flax brings New York machine funk, acid, and after-hours pressure, while Signal residents Patrick Russell and J. Richards complete the session with hypnotic vinyl instinct and deep control of the room. RSVP discount ticket is paid at the door. RSVPs are one per person, so anyone coming with you will need to submit their own. We cut off RSVPs at 11pm, and you'll need to be checked in at the door by that time to receive the discounted rate.
