AEAEA, the duo of composer-guitarist Patrick Higgins and composer-producer Nicolás Jaar, performs their first-ever US concert on September 25 at 314 Scholes in Brooklyn. Presented by MeanRed Productions as an Other People Label Night, the event marks the live premiere of AEAEA in Brooklyn. The duo of Jaar and Higgins resample and reprocess each other’s instruments in real time, building highly expressive, electro-acoustic environments that shift between composed melody and spontaneous texture. They will be joined by the cellist Mariel Roberts and percussionist Jeremy Gustin. A secret lineup of additional Other People artists will be announced ahead of the show, with all acts performing their North American live debuts. 8pm-late
