Vigilia

About

NOMINE joins Hybrid Movement Company for VIGILIA, a special Halloween collaboration at ArtX NYC in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Known for a genre-defying sound that moves through bass, broken rhythms, ambient textures, dubstep, and deep hypnotic electronics, NOMINE will collaborate with Hybrid Movement Company on a live performance shaped around his music before carrying the gathering into the dance. Also appearing are ElJeffre, whose sets move between NYC nightlife, sonic ritual, and healing soundscapes, and live-loop artist and vocalist Iris, whose work combines layered vocals, atmospheric production, world instrumentation, and rhythmic prose. VIGILIA begins as an immersive world of movement, circus, poetry, sound, costume, and ritual before opening into a late-night Halloween dance floor.
