Lineup To Follow. Strictly 120 places only. A Party at The Tyneside Cinema. Man Power & Fiona Brice NXS800 Album Launch with Athens of The North. Room 1 - Launch Party (House, Disco, Techno and Oddities) Room 2 - Film Scores and Soundtracks Into the early morning. We're throwing a party in the Tyneside Cinema to celebrate the launch of the new album from global DJ Man Power and noted classical composer, arranger and musician Fiona Brice which will be released this September on Athens Of The North. The cinema’s Art Deco coffee rooms will be used as a dance music venue, plus a second room featuring DJs providing alternative sets featuring their favourite music from cinema. NXS800 is an experimental work which combines electronic music, orchestral performance and which is rooted in working class culture. Movies and Popular Culture are often the entry point into orchestral and avant garde music for many people from a working class backgrounds. This is an event which will bridge the gap between Club Culture, Classical & Experimental Music, and Film. Spaces are very limited on this ocassion, however please also keep your eyes open for an even bigger dance event taking over the whole venue in 2027 to celebrate 90 years of The Tyneside Cinema.
