The Monterey Jazz Festival is the world's longest continuously running jazz festival, staged every September at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in California. The 69th edition runs 25 to 27 September 2026 across an arena and several grounds stages, drawing around 40,000 people over three days. Headline sets include Herbie Hancock and Ron Carter performing For Miles, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Cecile McLorin Salvant and the Charles Lloyd Quartet. Tickets are sold as three day or single day passes, either grounds only or grounds plus arena.
