James Pepper is a DJ and producer at the forefront of the electronic dance music scene within Australia. Hailing from the east coast of Sydney, he has enthralled audiences with his unique blend of techno, house, and progressive sounds. James has been in the industry for just under a decade, during which time he has played at some of the most esteemed venues and festivals across Australia and UK/Europe. He has shared stages with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Denis Sulta, Peggy Gou, Shanti Celeste, FJAAK and more. James’s productions were introduced to the EU when he was adopted into a family within Berlin, consisting of Black Loops, Carlo & Baldo via the Neovinyl Recordings Label. He would release his first music with the Berlin/ESP label with his ‘Lover EP’ – featuring a remix from Black Loops & Carlo, when he was just 21. He would go onto release 2 more tracks via Welsh label Haws collaborating with Black Loops on both. Since then he has gone onto release his For All My Wrongs EP [2020], as well as his Three Drops EP w/ Black Loops [2022], which both now boast 1.5mil + streams on spotify. James has played headline performances at festivals such as Lost Paradise and Days Like This, as well as playing a set for Boiler Room in his home town – showcasing his boundary-pushing sound to tens of thousands of music lovers, and has gained a cult following for infectious energy at the Lost Paradise Festival. In addition to his live sets, he regularly performs on radio shows and podcasts, via Balamii, Triple J & FBI Radio, earning a loyal fanbase around the world. With his finger on the pulse of the global dance music scene, James Pepper continues to innovate and evolve, pushing the boundaries of electronic music with every performance. His unique sound has earned him a reputation as one of the most exciting and dynamic DJs on the circuit, cementing his status as an up and comer to look out for.
