MUROKI RETURNS WITH AMBER SKIES ALBUM AND SHOWS One of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most distinctive voices returns from Berlin for April shows with his forthcoming debut album Amber Skies. Written and recorded as Muroki roamed the world, his nomadic lifestyle taking in Berlin’s creative underground, the hills of Raglan, the coastline of Portugal and a long overdue reunion with family in Kenya, Amber Skies is released on 30 January 2026. At the centre of Amber Skies is Muroki’s drive for freedom and new experiences. He believes music only really happens when he is fully living, pushing into new environments, meeting people and adding what he calls seasoning to life. “I’ve been bouncing between places while working on this album. Living nomadically keeps me open and curious.
