Producing music from the age of 13, Ophidian—then performing as Trypticon—made history at just 16, becoming the youngest artist signed by DJ Ruffneck to Gangsta Audiovisuals and Supreme Intelligence. In 2001, he joined Enzyme Records, releasing the influential Blackbox project through Enzyme X. His breakthrough came in 2004 with Butterfly 🦋 VIP, earning recognition across major hardcore events including Masters of Hardcore and Thunderdome. Known for combining raw, powerful hardcore with intricate melodies and atmospheric soundscapes, Ophidian remains one of the genre’s most respected and distinctive artists. He’ll be bringing that signature sound to Underground Madness 2, presented by Extra Sensory Productions, alongside some of Sydney’s finest: Nik Fish, Matrix, Spellbound, Crystal, Haze, Pebblez, Skittlez & Catzeyes.
