Muse is for music people, 18 and over. And no, it's not a dating app: it's for finding your crew. People who want someone to stand with at the barrier, rate the DJ with, and split the ride home with. What happens after the encore is your business.

Yes. Muse is free to download, and the core features are free: browsing events, matching by music taste, event chats, all of it. Optional MUSE Plus and MUSE Premium subscriptions add extras like Spotlights and incognito mode, but you never need them to find your crew.

18 and over. Muse runs on club nights, late shows and licensed venues, so that's the floor. If you come across someone who shouldn't be there, report them in the app.

You build it with the quick music quiz when you join, and it sharpens as you follow artists and venues and mark yourself going to shows. That's the whole point. Mark yourself going to a show and you'll see how many others are going, how many are going solo, and who's already in the event chat. Set your Meetup status to Solo, wave at people heading to the same night, and turn up knowing a face. Plenty of people on Muse bought the ticket first and found the company after.

Mark yourself going and the event page shows you the numbers: how many are going, how many are going solo, how many are chatting. Set your Hype level to show how keen you are, set your Meetup status to Solo or Crew so people know what you're after, and send a Wave to anyone heading to the same show. Wave back and you're matched.

A crew is a small group going to the same night, with a name and a host. Start one for a show you're going to and let people join, or join one that's already forming. Every crew gets its own chat, so you sort out where you're meeting before you're standing outside on your own.

Two things: what you listen to and where you are going. Your Music DNA covers the taste side, the artists, genres and traits from the quiz. The shows you mark yourself going to cover the rest, because sharing a Friday night counts as much as sharing a favourite band. Muse also puts nearby music people on a live map, so you can see who is around.

Muse is live in 205 cities across 55 countries: London, New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne and everywhere in between. If your city has shows, Muse has them. If it is quiet where you are right now, browse the nearest city and follow the artists you would travel for.

No. Muse shows you what's on and who's going, then sends you to wherever the tickets actually live. We don't sell them, take a cut, or hold your booking. Come back once you've got yours and mark yourself going.

Not yet. Muse lists gigs, club nights, raves and festivals that are already on, with more event types coming. What you can create is a crew: pick a night that's listed, start a crew for it, and bring people with you.

Muse is built around meeting at a venue, in public, with a few hundred people already there. Do the usual anyway: tell a friend where you're going, sort your own way home, keep your phone charged, and leave if something feels off. You can block or report anyone from the app, and every report gets reviewed. There's a full checklist on our safety page.

No. Muse never shows your exact location, and it never shows you anyone else's. The nearby map works on approximate areas, so you can see there are music people around without anyone being able to find your front door. MUSE Premium adds incognito if you would rather not appear at all.

Other Muse users, and only what you choose to put on there. Your profile lives in the app: it isn't a public web page and search engines can't index it. Your exact location is never shown, and MUSE Premium adds incognito if you want to browse without showing up at all.

Yes. Block anyone instantly, and report them from the same menu. Every report goes to our moderation team and gets reviewed. Harassment, hate speech and creeping get accounts removed, and we would rather lose a user than keep one who behaves like that.

Yes. We don't sell your data to third parties, and you control what goes on your profile. Your exact location is never shared with other users. Our Privacy Policy spells out exactly what we collect and why.

Muse is passwordless. Sign in using a one-time code sent to your phone, or connect with your Apple ID or Google account for quick access. No passwords to remember or forget.

Yes. Your account syncs across your devices, so signing in somewhere new picks up your chats, your crews and your Music DNA where you left them.

Yes. You can delete your account anytime from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
