Sonar has confirmed 17 to 19 June 2027 at Fira Montjuic. Three days, electronic-first programming, no tent required. It draws a crowd that came for the music rather than the group photo, which suits solo attendees; standing alone at Sonar reads as taste. Roskilde, Denmark: Eight Days Where Your Campsite Is Your Crew

Solo-festival guides name it, over and over, as the European festival where showing up alone is the default: it runs as a temporary community rather than a spectator event, and most attendees arrive without a group. Dekmantel and the Amsterdam Cluster

Dekmantel earns its place in solo-festival guides through size alone. The 30th edition runs 21 to 25 October across well over a hundred Amsterdam venues with thousands of DJs, making it the biggest club festival in the world. Camping Festival or City Festival: Which Is Easier Alone?

City festivals are easier to start with; camping festivals pay off harder. At Primavera, Sonar or ADE you keep an exit: a hostel bed, a shower, a reset button, and no pressure to socialize on any given night. Camping removes the exit. At Roskilde or Tomorrowland your neighbors are your evenings, and after a week the people three tents over feel like housemates. Pick city if you want the music with optional company.
