Northern Bass is New Zealand's long running New Year's bass music festival, held on a rural site at Kaiwaka in Northland about an hour north of Auckland. The 15th anniversary edition runs across the nights of 30 and 31 December 2026 with three stages and camping on site, plus food stalls, hot showers and a convenience store. Andy C, JME, Culture Shock, DJ Zinc, Swindle, S.P.Y and The Upbeats lead the first wave of around 30 acts, with more to be announced. Shuttle buses run from Auckland, Whangarei and Mangawhai.
