Sziget is one of Europe's largest festivals, staged for five days on Obudai-sziget, a Danube island in northern Budapest known as the Island of Freedom. The 2027 edition runs from 10 to 14 August with dozens of stages, art installations, camping and a full day-and-night programme, drawing around 400,000 admissions. Passes are sold for the whole five days rather than by day. A five day pass costs 349 euro, a 21 and under pass 279 euro and a VIP pass 569 euro, all plus handling fees.
